The Conference is organized by the Applied Physics Group and CEDAD-CEnter of Applied Physics, Dating and Diagnostics of the Department of Mathematics and Physics “Ennio De Giorgi” of the University of Salento.

The APG runs the CEDAD laboratories and has a well established expertise in the field of ultrasensitive isotope mass spectrometry, accelerator physics and technology, accelerator-based analytical techniques, electron microscopy,  Physics applied to Biology, Environmental Sciences and Medicine.  

In the Cittadella della Ricerca  CEDAD laboratories occupy a total area of 1800 sq.m and host also the chemical processing laboratories  where several classes of biological materials are routinely prepared to be submitted to isotope analyses.  Other laboratories of CEDAD are located in the Campus Ecotekne in Lecce.
